Chuck began his career with a prestigious advisory, tax and assurance firm in the New York tri-state area. He soon joined the firm’s advisory team in the IT audit group. In this role, he served many clients across the firms' industry specialties. Including, manufacturing, professional services, real estate & construction, financial services, technology and not for profits. Chuck’s natural ability to advise and gain trust provided deep insight into client needs and the motivation of decision makers.
Early in his career, firm management appointed Chuck “Director of Practice Development” to accelerate new and existing client growth. They recognized his passion and put their confidence in his aptitude to develop, coordinate, and implement “go to market” strategies. He focused on creating the right network of influencers and targeted buyers. He quickly realized that they were all in need of quality "idea generating" professionals with the resource to serve. This epiphany - along with his natural relationship and communication skills - built a successful methodology that in over three decades, generated and influenced hundreds of millions in lifetime value, new business and profit. He advanced to equity principal and served in several key C-Suite positions.
As Principal-in-Charge of Marketing, Public Relations and Business Development, he lead the firm's successful multi-channel marketing campaign utilizing a Hall of Fame-celebrity baseball player, manager, and MLB executive. This campaign included print, radio, digital, and social media to position the firm within targeted industry and geographic markets. As technology progressed, he quarterbacked the transformation to a digital marketing model-integrating the technology of all marketing systems to nurture leads, opportunities, and growth. During this time the organization achieved explosive growth.
In the early 2000's he added the firm’s international network to his list of responsibilities, facilitating referrals to and from member firms from over 115 countries. Chuck built strong relationships, traveling to member firms in over 40 countries and presenting at annual conferences. He was appointed Chairman of the International Marketing and Business Development committee where he coached and guided member firms to strengthen the international brand and increase international revenue. During this tenure, the network grew it's revenue base from $2.2B to over $4.0B. In 2019 he was awarded the highest honor given to an individual for their contribution to the betterment of the network worldwide.
Chuck is very grateful to the senior partners and mentors who set his course to succeed. It's clear if he had stayed on the firm's traditional path, his career would have been much less fulfilling. However, by focusing on his "success zone", his skills as a growth leader opened the winning path for a most rewarding and successful career. This is the key principle embedded into Chuck's coaching methodology.
